McDSP and Izotope Insight released for PT11

As the topic says, one of my fave plugin manufacturers McDSP released their entire catalogue for AAX64 today. I rely on d3555, as it’s the only de-esser I know of that automagically adjusts its threshold according to sensing the incoming signals gain, so you get very consissssstent removal of sibilance, even on quiet dialogue. ML4000 is a great and powerful tool for all sort of things and I much prefer the reliability of Futzboxes automation over the other “speaker and phone” plugins.

Izoptope Insight is also in most of my templates to monitor loudness. Vislm is also aax64, and is regularly updated by experts in the field, but I prefer how customisable the layout of Insight is, for all things metering – quite handy is viewing your spectrum in insight using the same colour scheme as izotope RX, makes using spectral repair that much more intuitive.

So it’s only been a few days since PT11 was released and I have aax64 compliant plugins that fill almost all my needs! Now if Waves just release their update and RX gets ported, I’ll be cooking with gas!
